Food Waste Reduction App

A prototype app that uses machine learning to reduce food waste in the aviation industry. Developed as a member of the "Avinovation" team at CGI, working directly with KLM, Transavia and Schiphol Group.

The challenges were complex: complex data from airlines, machine learning implementation, integration with existing systems, and industry-specific requirements. We developed a prototype that uses machine learning algorithms to predict and minimize food waste. The app integrates data from various airlines and provides actionable insights for catering planning.

The result is a successful prototype for the aviation industry with direct collaboration with KLM, Transavia and Schiphol Group. The project forms the foundation for further innovation in the sector and I was proud to be a member of the "Avinovation" team.

The prototype combines modern machine learning techniques with aviation-specific data processing for cutting-edge solutions to complex industry challenges.
